Fair warning over clocking will not produce results worth possible permanent damage to your processor. It would be much more effective to just run super clean.
+1 on that

What's with the OC hate on this forum? Voodoo used to be the boogeyman but now almost everyone jumped on that bandwagon.
Has anyone actually had a major hardware issue overclocking this phone? I can't recall reading about one. I'm sure it's rare if it's happened at all.
Nothin' to it, right now for this phone you just flash it like any other kernel and see if your phone locks upIf it does, 3 button recovery and flash your old kernel. Not worth a thread.
In the future if they make it such that you can regulate the voltage for each step it could get more complicated. There is a voltage control app for the Galaxy S, not sure if many people have tried it on this phone. We'll see how things develop. But at this point it's really simple. I don't even use SetCPU when I OC.
oh dont get me wrong im still weary of voodoo. there been a bunch of people that ive worked with for hours trying to recover from 0 internal memory. Even after repartitioning and flashing movinand and trying to repartition with other voodoo kernels
Has that happened on the latest Voodoo or are people still flashing those old Voodoo 4 kernels from October?
Hey all,
My flash was successful as I am running 2.2 now and everything is running smoothly. I used the Debloated/Deodexed Froyo Leak+root+Froyo Clockworkmod, and only one thing doesn't work and its my camera. When i try to open it up, it tells me my firmware is not update and asks me to update it. Any suggestions to get my camera working again?
