[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

stock is for people who like all the verzion preinstalled software, and debloated has them removed,,,, stock has the advantage if you like the software, if you dont its a disadvantage.

superclean has all samsung and verizon software removed
Thanks for that. Another question, do the super clean versions remove the Bing toolbar?

Sorry to be a bother.

I have a question...
Let's say I bought my Fascinate, opened the box, used the phone for 2 weeks and wanted to do this update. Aside from rooting my phone, is there anything else I should do before applying this update, such as wiping user data, or anything else like that to prep my phone for this update?
Or do I just follow these instructions?

Just follow the directions :)

Thanks for posting this. I plan on getting my Fascinate later this week, but I had a quick question about the differences in the versions available for download.

Is there any benefit to getting the stock version over the debloated version or any of the clean versions? Sorry if it's already been mentioned, I didn't care to look through 70 pages to find out. Is there a comparison of the different versions anywhere?

Thanks

superclean is the debloated/deodexed with a custom kernel and other deeper customizations. If you want sc 2.2, I wouldn't bother flashing the deodexed and just go straight to flashing 2.2 and what patches you want

All of these EB01's are courtesy of Adrynalyne. If you want to think of it this way, they all came in stages. First he gave us the stock EB01, then he debloated/deodexed the stock one to give us that one, then he modified the kernel and did further customization to give us superclean. So they are all the same thing in a sense, just in different stages. Make sure to thank the heck out of him whenever you have a chance.

I did the process last nite. Screwed it up somehow by restoring ALL Apps & Settings. What a bummer when you overwrite a newer file with an older one. Android doesn't like it one bit. I had a Blackberry Tour before getting the Fascinate. I upgraded the ROM on the BB as well, but with nowhere the ease this update went. Follow the instructions presented here and you can't fail. If you get a head of yourself as I did, it will cause a headache that you will wish you didn't have. However, if you restart the process(this time paying attention) you will get Froyo on your phone. And after it is all done, you'll have a phone you will love more, as I do mine. My thanks to all the MOD's and developers here and Adrynalyne for all the hard work that went into getting this to the world of the Fascinate line of devices..

And I'd suggest doing some reading so you can understand what is happening here. The more knowledgeable you are, the easier it will be for all of us to help you.
