[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

Flashing now, my thanks to you all (esp. Adrynalyne and DroidXcon!!) as always. Can't wait to see the new boot animation ;)

Do we know if there is actually an EB16 modem floating around? Just curious. Thanks to Adryn and DXc, I pretty much just flash my phone's brains out anytime something new comes my way regardless - LOL.

I'm about to pull the trigger on SC2.5 and would like some advice setting up my phone once I've completed the install since everything will be wiped. I'll be coming from stock 2.1 with the EA28 fix.

1. Will the market automatically start downloading every app I had installed prior to the wipe? If so can I disable that so I can start fresh and select individually the apps I want back?

2. Are there any other recommendations for this transition?

Thanks DroidXcon and Adrynalyne for all of the stickies and patience with the noobs.

just make sure you back up your contacts to Gmail, and perhaps do a titanium back up

the stock file does not require extraction ,,,and the update.zip is so you can enter clockwork recovery later on

So, updated to the EB16SC24x_DXC.tar the day before yesterday...did a battery stat reset, ran it out recharged and i'm barely getting 50% battery life I had before the upgrade...???

I have quick question. Im running 2.4 sc currently and want to update to 2.5 wiping version. my question is.....

is it necessary for me to go back to 2.1 stock version then go up to 2.5?

if not....is it recommended to do so??

thank you so much!!

Could anyone please help? I love these roms, and I've got the latest (2.5) installed and running, but there's one bug that's driving me crazy.

The Google Voice Search, which I used all the time on my Droid 1, doesn't seem to work correctly. It can't interface with the contacts, or at least it never produces a contact when you say their name, as it's supposed to. So when I say "text Frank Jackson" the SMS form comes up, but I don't get his (or anyone's) name/number in the "To:" area. You can try 100 times, it never produces a contact, either with the text, call or email commands.

Anyone notice this too, or have any idea if there's something I can do to fix it?

Address that in Adrynalynes thread http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...s-hacks/53810-rom-superclean-2-5-updated.html

I usually am just a stalker around here but i just did the froyo update and wanted to give you all a big TY! I love 2.5 and have just barely scratched the surface of it.

I guess the next step is leaning themes....

TY all again, I have found a ton of answers around here

yup me too just flashed stock eb01 with no problems....thanks droid x con and all the others!

Welcome to Android Central, congrats on 2.5 enjoy :)

Does it? I can't find it. I see a lot of stuff about Google Voice, but not Voice Search or Voice Commands, which are what's broken. I've been searching for info on this all night, among those with Fascinate Froyo builds, and I've found several messages complaining about it, but no one with any idea what's wrong, or a ROM developer mentioning it as a known bug.
