[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

Having an issue with what seems to be all of these updates. Currently running SC 2.6 and here is the problem sometimes when texting the screen doesn't time out after its done usually only happens when I set the phone down it just stays on? So then if I grab the phone and hit the off button it snaps a screen shot? Anyone seen anything like this? Wondering if there might be something wrong with my phone or if this a problem you guys know how to work around? It doesn't happen all the time just sometimes. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Have been on 2.4 SC non voodoo. In the process of installing 2.6 SC Non voodoo via recovery. I wiped cache, wiped Dalvik, went into red CWR to install zip. It has been installing for about 15 minutes now. Doesn't look good. Should I continue waiting or do a battery pull?

Time out is properly adjusted.....yes if you hit the back button then the sleep button it sleeps. Exactly.....

yeah it shouldnt take that long,,, try using my odin SC 2.6 but use the EB16SC26x_DXC.tar

I have some really basic questions. I've been reading your original post and all the replies and have been very hesitant to do anything for fear of screwing up my phone.

In the procedure, first thing to do was copy update.zip to the sd card. Should we unzip the files to the sd card, correct?

During your procedures, at what point do you stick the sd card back into the phone? I did read anywhere in the procedures where you refered back to those update files and what to do with them.

I notice that you now have superclean 2.6x, I says that it doesn't wipe data. How do you get the phone back to stock if I mess up in the process.

I now these are very basic questions, but I figure if I don't ask, I'll never know.

no you dont extract update.zip just put it on your card....

at no point do i say that the sd card is taken out of the phone... the sd card does not effect the flashing process at all, so in or out it doesnt matter

there are stock images that will bring your phone to out of the box state,,,,,but if you are going to use 2.6x you need to already be on a froyo build like it states in that post

yeah that method has nothing to do with my files,,,,, my files go on your computer, you extract the file.
open odin , click PDA , select the EB16SC26x_DXC.tar file , then click start.... please read over the original post again carefully and follow their directions

Thats what I did use when I flashed from SC 2.5......

Man, I read them several times, but I guess I now know that if I have to make a zip file myself, it is probably the wrong file! Thanks for the help. I used your set up to get to EB01 and it is greatly appreciated.

Huh? No odin is fine everything is fine I even think my battery life is better with 2.5 and 2.6 SC than the prior SC versions. My issue is with having the screen timeout as it should. When I hit the sleep button it snaps a screen shot.

Maybe this was misdirected.
