There are no specific "scrub down" instructions, per se. But after you do the patch, let me know if you still want to scrub things down and I'll walk you through what I would consider a scrub down. Heck, if you've got a land-line close to you and you're having issues with patching, I'd consider calling you and trying to walk through the procedure... until I have to go chase down issues here at work.

Let me know how it goes either in the thread itself, or a PM.

Man....this new 2.6 sc(Not sure if you guys meant to fix it lol) fixed my weired static sound while im on the phone...thnx alot!!

p.s.

Hmmmm seems like it has an issue with batt life.....did u say that you fixed the batt wiping thing through cwm instead of using emulator?? batt life is the only thing killing now...lol should b a way to get away from it...(Tell me plz!! lol)

Thanks to all, especially DroidXcon, who helped me go to Superclean 2.6! IT WORKED PERFECTLY, the first time. Everyone said it was easy to do but I was super nervous about doing it.

Now I just have to get used to the little differences such as apps scrolling vertically instead of horizontally.

And most importantly to me, it solved my USB mounting problem! Yea!

Have about an hour left at work doing nothing but twiddling my thumbs. Get that 2.7 ROM posted (non wipe), and I'll have it loaded with Odin within minutes.

EDIT - Bah, just saw Adrynalyne pull non-voodoo version of 2.7 for evaluation. Looks like there are a few complaints about being stuck at boot.

Strange thing happened to me today. I was using the internet on my phone when it just froze on my and then started to vibrate. it lasted 2 mins when it rebooted on its own and when i got back to my homescreen my widgets had stopped working. I tried long pressing to get my widgets back on homescreen but found that they were not listed anymore. I even lost my contact short-cut so tried to reload my apps with titanium backup, but it didnt work. Im running Droid's 2.6 and I have launchpro installed. I also dl Midnight/Bluesteel theme from XDA so dunno if that might be the problem wanted to know if anyone had the same problem.

@ Droidpowered---- I had LP installed also. Interesting that someone else had probs too.
