[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

Thanks to everyone for being patient with me...i finally got Superclean 2.6 - I was coming from the deodexed version of dxc's EB01. - Just to be safe, I factory reset, cleared cache and did a dalvik wipe through CWD Red. - Then I used Odin to flash superclean!!!!

thats great but ill have 2.7 up soon lol i know its hard to keep up with Adrynalyne

Yea it was fine for a couple of days, then as I was cruising the internet it just crapped out. Dunno know why yet.

I had it before I upped to SC2.4 then SC2.6x. It worked fine prior to jumping up. I ended up uninstalling it because it didn't like some apps after I jumped up to sc2.4/sc2.6x. Oh well. I'm experiencing some other apps not opening. DXC thinks that the memory may have gotten jacked up. So he suggested I do a full wipe and start all over again.

Not looking forward to it, but at least now I know what the heck I'm doing. I'm very thankful for DXC....he's very patient with us noobs.

2.7 is a go Droid! Well I got contacts back on the phone so maybe im thinking it was my theme cause LP seems to be running fine now...hmmm lets see how long

Red, i am going to let everyone download rom manager from now on and flash 3.x on their own

is that a fairly easy process? also, I have seen forums on here regarding rom manager being largely unsupported? is cwm 3.x better than 2.5. x?

can't wait!! - the only thing I hate doing is downloading all my contacts from verizon, setting up my emails and going to the market to download all my favorite apps everytime I switch to newer roms...but I guess everything comes with a small price...thanks DXC for keeping up with Adrynalyne.

Try sc2.7 and see how it works for you.

Sorry guys this probably isn't the right thread for this but it's close enough. I am trying to flash eb01_reboot_battery_aosp mainly for the lock screen and reboot options. I am flashing via Rom Manager, everything appears to go ok but I got nothing once it reboots. Any ideas?

Ok flashed back to DI01 then to sc2.6 as per standupdad. Seems to be working fine now. Thanks to everyone for all your help.

Thank you for trying some things and hanging in there until we could get something working for you. I believe that you're going to be pretty rock solid. If not, there are quite a few ppl here to help.

Good move taking standup's advice, he and Landshark know their stuff , even more so than me i think

DXC---- Downloading CI500_VZW_EB01_FROYO_REL.tar.md5.tar (435.68 MB) as we speak. I've backed up everything thru Titanium Backup. Wish me luck.......

DXC---- Downloading CI500_VZW_EB01_FROYO_REL.tar.md5.tar (435.68 MB) as we speak. After the dl is completed, do I "extract here" or just immediately flash it thru Odin? I've backed up everything thru Titanium Backup.

Just flash it,,,i may try what they do put the checksum at the end maybe i wont need to have people extract the files

Hey Droid what exactly was the problem with 2.7? I have it running and it seems fine. Im just interested to find out just to test it out further.

Question.

From ROM Manager, "Reboot into Recovery" puts me straight into Red CWR v2.5.1.x. Then, "Apply sdcard:update.zip" puts me into Orange CWR v3.0.0.8.

However, the update to CWR 3.0.0.8 doesn't "stick". Direct boot to recovery or booting recovery from ROM manager always goes to Red CWR.

Is this functioning correctly??

if you apply update.zip again does it bring you to orange?
