I went from Stock 2.1 with latest OTA update to SC 2.9 (not X) and I am having the same problem the guy above is having... random black screen, lit up soft keys, then honeycomb animation/restart. I have flashed it twice so far. Anything I need to do differently? Thanks for all your help!

OK, Lttlwing16 and cl36 and anyone else having problems with the audio in Flashplayer 10.1 or 10.2 - went to cnet, played a video there, got freaked out by the slow, deep voice. Thought I was getting a ransom call from a kidnapper
Went to this really awesome site Android Central, played the video for the Thunderbolt and audio streamed flawlessly and was in sync with the video. Will check some other sites.

My coworkers stock 2.2 HTC Droid Incredible played CNET flawlessly, so we know its something with the build we're using.. if we didn't know that already..

haven't tried the EC10 kernel yet and checked, but I'll give it a go... don't know if that would effect it anyway..

currently running sc2.9 voodoo with the ec10 kernel and cnet still has the spooky slow audio. that is the only site that i can find that does it

Help turning down click while typing

I have installed the 2.8 version from this this thread. I am trying to figure out how to turn down the click sound when typing a text or email. I had it turned down pretty low on the stock OS version, but for some reason everything I try on the 2.8 OS version doesn't work.

Any thoughts or suggestions on how to fix this would be great.

Hey guys noobness here sooooo I loaded full stock froyo leak+root+froyo Clockworkmod and my phone ran great...download some apps like go launcher and that ad app that stops unwanted ads and a calendar widget. A day later I noticed my battery is getting it's life sucked out of it in 6 hours without me evening using my phone. I couldn't figure out what was doing it. soo anyway I just updated to superclean 2.8 the one that does not wipe data or cache....and im still having the same problem...any ideas guys??? please don't flame me im a noob lol

the only way i know how to do it is to turn the volume down or to shut off audible selection.

i would consider moving to 2.9 or waiting there will be another version maybe coming out today.

be mindful of your widgets. did you remove the widgets on the main launder before applying them on the go launcher aswell, because if you have widgets on both launchers they will suck battery down because you have twice as many widgets open.

also i dont know what ad blocker you are reffering to but if its constantly scanning for pop ups it may be sucking up your battery.

also if you are using a task killer that would also reduce battery life.

and i am more upset that you think we would flame you for a question than i am the actual question. We are for the most part a very friendly and helpful place. Please feel free to ask questions, the only stupid question is the one that is not asked. But always read the original posts carefully and look for trouble shooting tips, not because we don't want to answer questions but because some of us spend hours and sometimes days writing up posts so that they answer your concerns.

But even then we are more than willing to help .

Also, because it's been a problem specific to this leaked EB01 build, make sure wifi and GPS are turned off when you are not using them, they are also sucking battery.

Try disabling the data roaming (settings-Wireless & network-Mobile Networks-Data Roaming) saw this somewhere else and I feel it has helped.

I like to leave background data, sync, and location services off unless I need one of these particulars. It seems to help.

Make sure your email client, whatever it may be, isn't set to check more than every 1 hour. If your expecting an email try putting a shortcut to your email and check it manually.

You can also turn off just the audible selection for the keyboard by going
menu=>settings=>language & keyboard, click on the keyboard you are using to change settings and uncheck the sound option
swype = audio feedback
android = sound on keypress
