[ODIN] Official Froyo ED01 packaged custom ROMs w/Root - Updated 06/12/11

Back in business! Thanks so much!

Well, the flippin' extra "google" search widget is still there, but I think I'll leave well enough alone!

I also have that stupid extra google widget. Anyone know the way to get rid of it before I start messing around for a way to get rid of it

are you still planning on making ODIN packages for Community ROM? i think i'm ready to switch from SC 2.9.2 which is excellent.

Testing it myself right now. I got 1.2 working before and had a few testers use it successfully. All I had to do was replace the 1.2 file with the 1.3 file, so as long as it works for me I will release them.

Correct 1.3 is being tested by Landshark. His package of 1.2 was being tested and working great when 1.3 update was released. I'm sure 1.3 will be tested completely soon and released.

the next odin pkg will have ed3 in it? just wondering. ^^

Yes, next ODIN package will have Community ROM v 1.3 I got the no wipe version working, just having trouble with the wipe version. Will be posting at least the "no wipe" versions tomorrow. Will have versions with the EC01 modem and without any modem for those who went back to get the ED01 modem and want to keep it.

installed your CR_EC01_CVx_Shark.tar. Seems to be working great! been wondering though - doesn't CR1.3 include voodoo kernel? any reason you're not using it? thanks again for all your (and testers) work - much appreciated!

Yes it does come with a voodoo kernel, but voodoo kernels do not work in these ODIN packages. So I had to go with a good, reliable nonvooodoo kernel and always had good results with ComaVolt. If you want to switch to voodoo, you will just need to place your choice of voodoo kernel on your sd card, boot to recovery, and flash the voodoo kernel in CWM. Don't forget to enable lag fix in the voodoo menu in CWM before you reboot your phone.

Just installed your Com Rom Odin package.....getting several force close? Any idea why? Also, does this package come with the current CWM?

I came form SC 2.9.2....I tried the Com Rom out last week but wasnt too sure about it so I went back to SC 2.9.2. I saw the Odin package Shark put together today so I thought I would try it out. On start up, right after the Android flashing sign, I get several force close. Maybe I downloaded a bad file or something....

Probably a bad download. I experienced that problem with the wipe packages which is why I haven't posted them yet. But I had no troubles at all with the no wipe packages.

I re downloaded the file and have tried the Odin package 3x now and its not working. It gets to the Android screen on start up and stays there, vibrating like its trying to force close but never finishes the start up. I even tried the unvoodoo procedure just in case I was in voodoo, same results. Ive done a wipe of the D/C caches and a phone wipe each time before trying to flash the Com Rom via Odin. I can flash SC292 via Odin, but not the Com Rom. Any ideas?

love this 1.3 with ODIN!! My phone is so fast now i used about 8 hours already!! i can feel it soon as i install this PKG!!! Thanks 4 all.

but one thing.. i dont see my clock on top of the screen. i tried to setting but... no show.

You have to go into menu=>settings=>TSM parts=>statusbar settings, make sure there is no checkmark after hide clock or hide AM/PM, scroll to the bottom, click text color, choose any color other than black by touching the color in the outer ring, then touch the center circle to lock your choice, back out of there to your homescreen, rotate the phone 90 degrees left or right to get the homescreen to rotate and the clock should appear. If it doesn't appear then, just reboot the phone and the settings will take effect.

Don't wipe any of the caches or data before you flash in ODIN. The ODIN package wipes the cache for you, just not data. Flash SC 2.9.2, let it boot up, power down, pull battery, flash CR 1.3 without wiping anything and see if that works.
