Anyone still getting email notification sounds even though there is no new email? I still get this every so often. Please note that this only happens to my AOL email account on motorola droid not my google email. Google email notification is working great!!!

This sometimes happens to me (Hotmail & non enterprise work (POP) account). Usually it is after I receive an email but do open the phone to check it. I am not aware of a setting in email that will force it to alert me more than once if I do not open the email.

Also, if I delete an email it will sometimes pop back into my inbox. i beleive this is do to email still residing on the email server and when the phone rechecks it has not been deleted yet and appears to be new again....thus it resends it again.

I've had my Droid for a week now and it came with 2.0.1 pre-installed. Everything on it runs fine except that there's a lot of lag in the browser when scrolling through a lot of websites.

Update: My problems were fixed after I rooted and overclocked my Droid.

Happens to me all the time! I am using exchange, that and the lack of a email signature have been my ONLY issues since day one. I receive ghost notifications constantly, and have to just leave my email notifications off all together. I am crossing my fingers with 2.1, but not holding my breath...

This (with Hotmail) and the Facebook app. being somewhat lame are my only complaints with this phone. I love it to pieces.
