Before anyone starts trying to install this do you think it would be safe to do a restore through recovery with this nandriod? Lets get an answer out there before anyone potentially borks their phone.

Recovered with this and flashed the bumblebee kernel. Running just fine :D. Just gotta restore my apps and remove the damn bloatware!

So what are the steps? Flash the recovery, then do a restore with the nand?
Edit: I got it installed. I used unrar from the market then moved it to my backup folder in clockwork. Then rebooted into recovery and did the restore. Works fine. But I think they took out wifi tethering : (

This will not change your baseband or prl. This is a nandroid backup of the stock rom. It is not the full blown firmware update that LG/VM is supposed to provide. Keep that in mind.

The kernel appears to be different from the original V4 release. I wonder if they are going to release a new set of source code for this.

In bumblebee the auto rotate isnt working for me with this O.o. and Mmarz, in the info it says I have the V5 baseband after restoring this.

Maybe its because the newer OV with 2.2.2 also comes shipped with V5 baseband and its written into the build.prop

There has to be an explanation for why the baseband info would show V5. Maybe its because of stock kernel updates from LG or something like that.

first off let me say thanks for posting this and I'm wondering how you got it (did your phone come with it or did you have a cab and dll? I just flashed it using fastboot everything went smooth I'm thinking that we can probably use the radio from optimus s but I would recommend using a modified stock recovery.
