Oh and somebody said MP4s weren't playing? Im watching mp4s in the native video player.

Any mp4s I downloaded (youtube mostly) play fine in the default app, but any files I converted using Handbrake require a software decoder now when they did not before. Those files main function is really to be played through my Roku, but it was nice that they workrd in the default app on the phone to. It's not a huge deal, just means I can't push them through DLNA now.

are you giving it time to check out the update? In the upper right corner of the screen there is a verticle progress bar. I think Blue?? Can't remembr color for sure. This takes and minute or two to complete. Then towards the bottom of page it will ask if you want to update.

Man I gotta say my battery life has greatly improved. Left in idle over night and usually in the morning I'm around 45-50% battery life left. since the update to GB I'm at 85-90%. Also gotta add, phone runs smoother and a lot snappier. not one reboot yet

Liking the update for the most part. Faster and better battery life. The only negatives I've seen is that mine is taking forever to update the market app but that should take care of itself. The bigger issue is that the dock sensor doesn't seem to be working. In my card dock neither the HTC or the Google Car Home app will launch automatically. I can launch Car Home manually but that's kind of annoying. Anyone else have this issue?

my phone with the latest official update is working great. battery life is great with 4g and extended battery. I haven't had a single reboot since the update. I do not see the point of installing this leaked version and possibly screw up a good thing i got going at the moment.

but yes I am guilty of having the RUU downloaded already just in case

Hard to tell sometimes. Maybe a month or so. Depends on the testing and approval steps.

This isn't the official update Verizon will be pushing out, so based on past experience you will NOT get the next OTA and will be stuck waiting for someone to post the final official RUU, download it, then flash the phone again.

Not like it'll be a long wait. With MR2 the RUU was available before they even started pushing it out OTA!

It depends. What if you flash this unofficial leak now (today) and the final official one (and the ensuing RUU) doesn't come for another month? No one knows exactly when the final build will be ready or released. At least with the early leak of MR2 back in June, the reboot issue was serious enough for many of us to warrant installing it. Considering most with the final MR2 update have solid working phones, not so sure about this leak. But to each his own.

I need help... I downloaded the zip file, tried to open it to rename it & I got unable to open "corrupt file"... Now I can't access the link anymore Cuz their site its being upgraded.. if I do get this to work unrooted, will I still be able to get the actual upgrade when it comes out? As you can see by my name I am an electric lineman & trying to learn all this stuff own.. Love playing with my thunderbolt & whatever else but Burr very good at it.. Please someone help..

To rename it, just right click it and choose rename (no need to open the file). If you flash this leaked build, you most likely will NOT get the official OTA and instead will have to download the final official RUU, download it and flash the phone again.
