Hey guys I'm back. Long story but I'll make it short. Right before my return policy came due I decided all the sudden to exchange my Honor 8 for what I initially set out to get which was the Nexus 6p. However and that said to make it short, fast forward to right now, I thought the Honor 8 was awesome. I'm back now and about to buy another Honor 8 but will be keeping this one. My question is and advice needed is thst I have two choices. Choice one, Black 32g model? Choice two, Pearl 64g model? Which should I go for and I definitely welcome your thoughts and advice before I spend either $349 or $399. Thanks in advance and I plan to place my Amazon order today of one of those two models.

Thanks,.

DC

Ended up going with the black as I feel like one day it will demand a better value. Should arrive tomorrow as I've missed my original Honor 8. Now I've got to sell my Sony Xperia X. Anyone looking for a like brand new one of these let me know. I'll give you a deal!

Just keep in mind no adoptable storage. For most 32 would be enough but some need more

True. I ended up ordering the black 32g. I almost got the pearl 64g but decided not to at the last second.

Yes, the blue honor 8 I had briefly used a SD card and the midnight black I ordered said US version and warranty so I'm throwing my 64 SD card in mine also.

The only reason for the 64GB version is the RAM speed. Internal RAM is faster than SD cards unless you buy the fast SD card which will cost as much as the additional $50 for the 64GB model.

You know, I never even thought to consider the ram. Does the 64 come with one more g of ram? If so I would have probably gone with the 64. Never crossed my mind to cross check that. Thanks for the heads up on that man.

The 32gb and 64gb both have 4gb of RAM but SD cards are notorious for slowing android phones down unless you use the fastest sd card available which ends up costing the same, or maybe more, than just buying the 64gb phone.

I personally hate adoptable storage, on my moto x pure I lost my apps 3 times for no reason and I was using a brand new top tier card. I ended up just using it to store pictures and video.

Oh I don't recommend it to anyone on a phone with 32 gb or higher but some people have complained about it in the past so i just mentioned it

Well Amazon screwed my order up and I have no idea where my phone is. This is the third order in a row they've messed up. First I was sent some broken Oakley sunglasses, then I ordered the same pair from another vendor off Amazon and they sent me the wrong color then now I pay directly for Saturday delivery and my package doesn't even have a tracking number and no where to be found. I spend a ton with Amazon but if it doesn't show then I'm going to reorder the 64g I believe. Ugh Amazon!! Lol

That's not cool at all, they need to give you a credit or something.

Yeah it happens sometimes. I had Amazon send me missing order shipment e-mails for like half a dozen orders in a row. Contact them about a courtesy credit... They are pretty good about those things.
