Opinion: VZW SGSIII will be arriving 7/12

As long as it doesn't get the same treatment as the Droid Incredible 4G I'l be ok with it. Pictures of that phone are going to start showing up on the back of milk cartons. I was looking forward to that phone too but pre-ordered the S3 instead.

If this was the case this those that paid full retail should get theirs sooner and Verizon could play like they don't know why some people are receiving phones are others aren't. I think it was just Verizon being cautious about the date they will actual have them available.

Except most people who know about the losing of unlimited preordered which takes them out of the equation. Most non tech people who do not read sites like this have no idea and will get the phone when it comes regardless of keeping unlimited data or not.

Pay attention to the second paragraph . I will quote .....actual ship day is July 9

Bottom line is, it will ship before, on, or after 7/9, and we won't know until it happens. Verizon is almost always last with new phones, so I don't see anything mysterious with all this.

They also never get a phone the same time as other carriers so this alone is different since every carrier got the phone with no "exclusive" period

At the end of the day we should all just be happy that this thing is coming to VZW at all.
Look at all the people that wanted the one x , or the EVO new or old.
The phone comes when it comes and they even told us its gonna be a little while .... The only real gripe to have is if VZW plays with the contracts, and we will cross that bridge if we have to, and I doubt with all my heart that we will have to. Let's hope I am right.

I think we should stop over thinking anything and just wait until VZW sends us an email telling us it's shipped. I want my S3 just as bad as anyone else, but speculating isn't going to make them ship any faster.

I just did my pre order in store, the Dude told me they won't be released til' 7/12 due to the new pricing structure tiers.

Not that he knows what he is talking about, as their reps are idiots, but..... it does make sense.

I just called best buy and someone who actually seemed like he knew what he was talking about answered. He told me that he has been told the release date is tomorrow, but then he told me that since other carriers are getting delayed, he thinks Verizon might follow. Take whatever you want out of this. Personally tomorrow seems too early to me, but you never know.

Hey, I didnt say I believed him, and also he said he "just" got the info, so it could be new news. Just sharing what I got, if you don't like it... well too bad because speculation is what these forums are about before releases!

Where are you ordering your SD cards from in the 64gb flavor? I never even thought about getting one until now. Silly Rabbit!! I'm so used to this GNex not having one that it really slipped my mind.
