Ordered directly from Samsung.com?

Like I stated in an earlier post, I canceled my order with samsung.com last Friday, went to Best Buy, and picked up a shiny new coral blue Note 7.
 
I got a notification about the free SD card and the wall charger that I also ordered from Samsung.. both are on backorder and will be shipped when their stock gets replenished. Still no word on the black TMo note7.

News sources are saying that the note7 demand was extremely underestimated and that Europe's release date will be postponed because of this.
 
I pre ordered through samsung because I'm on a tmobile prepaid plan and wasn't able to order the phone through tmobile unless I chose a brand new post paid plan of at least $50 plus the $20 sim card kit. So I would have had to pay an extra $70 to get it through tmobile and have an extra sim card/plan that I wouldn't use. With samsung , they just sell you the phone.
 
If I were you, cancel the order and go buy it from BestBuy. The [removed] heads at Samsung really are not able to do their jobs.
Definitely....I ordered on the 17th and got my silver one today...The fact that people who ordered on the 3rd still dont have their phones is absurb....
 
I ordered my Onyx T-Mobile Note 7 on Aug.2 and have had the charge on my card since that day (PayPal).

I called Samsung support today and asked to speak to a manager. After asking me several times why I wanted to speak to her manager, she finally transfered me.

The manager pretty much told me the info you guys have already posted - she ensured me that the phone would ship by Aug.26 and that I would receive the phone by Sep.3 at the latest. I'm hoping this is the absolute truth...

I guess the only silver lining is I received my Gear Fit 2 on Aug.5.

I ordered through Samsung naively thinking I would be able to get the phone earlier. I placed my order on the 3rd at around 9pm for T-mobile in Coral Blue. I received the Gear Fit a few days later. I haven't heard anything since. What's worse is that I can't even see my order on the Samsung account. I've called their support line at least 5 times and each time they claim "it's being shipped this week." Anyways yesterday a rep told me to hold on and wait for the shipments they would be doing on Friday. But we shall see.

This experience will dissuade me from any further preoders from Samsung.

Ordered Aug 3 (2am) through Samsung....thinking would be fast delivery.....and Tmobile could only bundle with another plan and $20 SIM (didn't want either). Guess Tmobile never thought an existing customer would ever need a new phone.

No phone, no info, no way to get info since site order stuff is broke. Guess we are the 1st to ever order a phone from them.

Put $900+ order on CC and only have a sport watch that says I have climbed 1000's of floors....even though I never even go up one step.

Every day that passes helps me remember not to ever do this again.
 
Looks like my forum gripes worked; I now have a tracking # for Fri delivery :))

Of course I am leaving out of town so won't really get it.
 
I just received my tracking # as well, with an estimated delivery of Tuesday the 30th to Southern Cali.

Info a few posts above. Maybe they are actually moving now.
 
Mine "shipped" today as well. Won't be delivered until Tuesday though. I somehow hoped they would overnight them because of the idiotic delay. Silly me.
 
I posted on the thread pinned above but I placed my order on Friday the 19th.

Got a back order notification on Monday for both the card and Note 7 (black, ATT). Called customer support to get a timeline and the first guy I spoke to said 7-10 days to fulfill a back order.

Second I spoke to said 7-10 is the standard response they're supposed to give but it could be shorter or longer.

He did recommend I go see if they have any in an AT&T store. None in stock there - 3 to 5 days special order.
 
"Pre-Ordered" the phone (AT&T Black) on the 2nd 11:27pm PST, received order confirmation 11:40pm..
Received tracking for the sd card on 19th(Fri), followed by another tracking on 22nd(Mon) for the phone..
Both packages delivered yesterday and this morning via FedEx.. sigh.. lesson learned..
 
Glad to see that some of the phones pre-ordered on the 3rd are finally shipping. My order was on the 5th. Looks like next week shipping for me, if I am lucky. Please keep posting if your Samsung.com order has shipped.
 
Just talked with someone at Samsung. Apparently all phones ordered Aug 3-18 will be shipped some time tomorrow.

I don't recommend calling Samsung. I called them twice and I was on hold for 35 minutes each time with a repetitive message that looped every 10-15 seconds.

The lady I spoke to with Samsung promotions told me that I would be able to buy the Note 7 at a local T-Mobile store and I would be guaranteed to get the free SD card if I made the request before September 18. After she answered my question about this, I asked to cancel my order with Samsung so that I could buy it from the T-Mobile store and AT THAT INSTANT she claimed that she could not hear me and hung up. It might be a weird coincidence but I checked my mute button, put the phone on speakerphone, and I could hear her on the other line very clearly. Whatever it was, I haven't had the best experience with Samsung customer service at all.

The people who transferred me to the second person each time I called did not know anything about what I was asking and were not listening to my question.
