Just talked with someone at Samsung. Apparently all phones ordered Aug 3-18 will be shipped some time tomorrow.
I don't recommend calling Samsung. I called them twice and I was on hold for 35 minutes each time with a repetitive message that looped every 10-15 seconds.
The lady I spoke to with Samsung promotions told me that I would be able to buy the Note 7 at a local T-Mobile store and I would be guaranteed to get the free SD card if I made the request before September 18. After she answered my question about this, I asked to cancel my order with Samsung so that I could buy it from the T-Mobile store and AT THAT INSTANT she claimed that she could not hear me and hung up. It might be a weird coincidence but I checked my mute button, put the phone on speakerphone, and I could hear her on the other line very clearly. Whatever it was, I haven't had the best experience with Samsung customer service at all.
The people who transferred me to the second person each time I called did not know anything about what I was asking and were not listening to my question.
