5th reflash and it booted up, only difference this time is I waited to install Breezys-AC theme (no idea if this has anything to do with the boot or not). After I installed the overclock configured my setting, i installed the theme and it booted up with no issues.

Any idea why the aplication freezes when opening while requesting super user access? when i ipen the widget it says SU Request at the top of the screen and sits there until the force close window comes up. Any ideas?
I had the same thing happen to me when after using the Rom for a while I just loaded in the OC and dloaded the widget. I had to reflash it all at once minus the theme to set it up. Like I said before not sure if the theme already being there had anything to do with it b/c I am sure it did not but I am not messing with it again since its working lol.
In short I would reflash in different steps till you get it to work.
same thing happened to me. i've been running iced for a while with no problems. runs fast and great battery life. but as soon as i flashed the oc zip it went into an endless reboot.

flashed the one you said and booted up with no problem. downloaded overclock widget and when i click on the widget it gets to superuser request it wont respond. it gives me the option of force closing or waiting. neither is working
thanks. it worked after that. my hero didnt like a 768 max. set it and it started rebooting constantly. recovered, reflashed and set it at the settings in page 2 with the max at 710 and it works perfectly. live wallpapers look so nice now. what do guys have the cpu update interval at? thanks for everything beezy. will be adding to your coffee pot after all the help and hard work.

This is the first OC kernel or Rom I have been able to flash and run on my 2.1 hero without a bootloop. Looking forward to seeing the performance gains. Thanks for posting this Beezy, and to darchstar and other developers that work on this stuff. I was beginning to think I would never, ever get to experience overclocking on 2.1.How hot you talking? Like the orange/green light starts blinking or it just gets really warm?
I think it might give you issues cause we have different calls to the boot,ill get the link to the one you would want to try just a few min.
Try the one first post should say for fresh or damage roms.
