People cannot hear me

I am trying out the calling on google home when making a call I can hear the person crystal clear on my end but they cannot hear me at all on their end why? and Is there any fix to this ? Thank you

My home device never hears me even when I am 5 feet away. My echo dot hears me one room away. I think there is a problem with the mics in these things

Yours might have a problem why didn't you return it? I can be in the living room and mine hears me in my bedroom

intermittent for me. two rooms away good sometimes . then on a call I gotta talk right into it. it pauses in-between your sentences so therefore the conversations aren't heard fluently ,like their cutting out. but back n forth on the sensitivity. the anticipation of the machine seems lazy. echo is alive n alert it seems to me.
