Anyway to hide that Navbar? I think Nova Launcher let you do it a few updates ago but no go now. I also read that google is working on dimming it. And no, I rather not root just yet.

There's more to it than the launcher (and the Pixel launcher isn't exactly "stock Android" either: it's a manufacturer-specific launcher, except this time the manufacturer is Google).

I like to keep my phone desktop clean. The photo is my grand piano where I spend several hours working every day. The Pixel 2 XL camera is really good. I can actually read the music on my piano rack! I've never had a phone camera this good before!

do you keep the center empty to watch your wallpaper? seems like a waste of space I always fill up the whole screen. don't get me wrong I love the new love wallpapers but I'm a utilitarian first I need to be produce first and entertained second

I like to keep my first screen clean too. I do like to look at my wallpapers
