Pixel 2 / 2 XL - Let's see your setup on your Home Screen(s)!

Does anyone have a problem with the weather widget not showing up next to the calendar on the stock launcher? For whatever reason I can't seem to get it to work on my home screen.

I think I'm going to stick with nova. For some weird reason the screen and the colors are more vivid than the Pixel launcher. Very strange.

I had to switch to Nova because the Pixel launcher wouldn't play fair with the immersive mode app I installed. Territorial little p****, that Pixel launcher. I do miss the at-a-glance widget, tho.

This is the set up on all my Android devices (HTC One m7, G Box Q, Galaxy Tab S2) using Nova launcher.
As you see, I keep a link to the original launcher next to the clock icon on the home screen.

I use Thunderstorm as my live wallpaper.

Below is the original launcher screen... (It was hell trying to get a screenshot during a lightning strike...)

It's not a skin. It's simply one of the wallpapers that comes stock with the phone, Nova Launcher, and the icons are from an icon pack called "Min".

Do you have to use Nova for the icon pack? Had similar icon on my htc 10 with their there store and they really grew on me.

Does anyone know of a launcher that will sync your Android devices?
Instead of backing up the launcher on one device and manually restoring the backup on another device, will a launcher keep the two in sync as much as possible?

Can someone tell me how to get the weather to display at the top of the homescreen? My Pixel 2 only displays the day and date, no weather.

I believe you need to have a Weather App installed and go thru the config of the Another Widget to point it to that app.

No Pixel 2 XL yet, this is my first gen regular sized pixel but I think my setup will be about the same. Personally not a fan of the "appley" look of having apps all over the screen, that is what app drawer is for, nothing wrong with that look, that is just why I get android.Screenshot_20171025-235759.jpg

Anyone who has a 2 now could you tell me is there an option to do the time instead or at least along with the date, I found some weird work around to get the time instead of the date but with the oreo update it went away :'(

I have the smaller 2. What is it you're asking? Where? You mean the included widget at the top of the launcher?
Unfortunately I believe it only displays the day of the week, the day of the month, and then the weather.
I don't see any settings for it to alter.
I could be wrong, so someone feel free to prove it, but I don't see settings for it anywhere.

Loving the dark theme
