TRAINS I love trains!!!!

In downtown Renton, home of various Boeing jets over the years, there's a track that runs on a roadway, sharing the right-of-way with cars, a bit odd but you get use to it. Well, as above, fuselages on flatbeds would occasionally run that track/road right along side of you. The ones above probably made it down there later that day. Kind of neat. I worked for the city.

Here's an image of the active track:

Oh my goodness, that must be SO COOL! A little jarring too, maybe, but so cool!! Thank you so much for sharing!

One or two were taken with the Moment 58 mm telephoto, but I can't quite remember which ones. It would've been one of the butterfly pics.

Finally, got in a hike to a favored vantage point.

Three days in Eastern and Western Washington and the Cascades. Some on bike blasting down from Washington Pass at 44 mph (from 5,400 feet to 2,000 feet in about 14 miles), some taken from the car and this morning's ride back home.

Dry Eastern Washington, compare to later shots of Western Washington, just about 50 miles apart over the Cascades.

Devils Club, Rockport State Park. Those spines are also underneath the large leaves along their veins. The Latin name is a give-away: Oplopanax horridus

Traffic was bad on I-5 into Seattle so we stopped at an art gallery and my newest acquisition.

These are amazing photos! Thank you so much for sharing them with us!

On today's bike ride. I liked the moody image and I used the camera's zoom function. Of course, those marine clouds made the early ride to beat the heat quite cool. Can't win.
