Same story as the two preceding posts. Pre-ordered a Pixel 3 XL from Google.Store during the announcement event, delivery date has just be pushed back for the second time, from Nov 6-7 to Nov 13-14. Not impressed, Google!

Ordered mine from Verizon Saturday and I got it today. Finished setting it up with no issues

I just reordered it and chose the 64 isntead of 128 white XL and will be here Wednesday. Tired of waiting for the 128.

I'm a November 6-7th as well and expect I'll get an email shortly. I would suspect some sort of halt in shipping to make tweaks to the handset, except it's obvious that others are receiving their phones directly from Google daily...

So I read this forum and saw that people cancel/re-ordered and got better dates. (I originally ordered a not pink 3 xl 64 gb through store.) I decided to try to add it in my cart and apparently my area (bay area) is eligible for in-person expert set up next day so now I'm getting my phone tomorrow!!!!! What's funnier is that my trade-in value of my phone also increased to $355 from $290. Somehow turned into a win. Suggest at least Bay Area folks to give that a try!

I literally created an account just so I can share because I feel like I need to contribute back from what I got here :)

Well my two 3 XL's 128gb ordered from Fi have finally shipped. Only issue is this signature requirement. Fi said it is their policy now that it needs a signature. So, I guess Ill discuss with fedex but not sure that will get me anywhere considering what Ive read other people say. I think my only options are to 1) take off work 2) Put a vacation hold on until the weekend 3) talk to the delivery driver through my nest hello and convince him to leave the packages.

Curious... what were you stated shipping dates? (Did it ship when it was supposed to as originally stated at time of purchase, did you get an updated email that it was it delayed,
etc.?)

I have signature cards on file with both FedEx and UPS from where I had my business years ago.
Have you talked to FedEx about if that will work for you.

I placed two orders with Fi on 10/10. Both White 128 gb XL's. Original ship date was Nov. 14-15. Then last Monday they started changing dates, first to Oct 24-25, then to Oct 26-29 then back to Nov 14-15, then Oct 29-30, then finally Oct 31 - Nov 1. Each time I got an email and checked the google store estimated date and then chatted with support. Support is about useless for shipping dates, they pretty much just confirm that it says that on their end. I was able to get $10 Fi credit though because when they changed it to the Oct 29-30 delivery date the rep promised me it would be delivered by those dates and obviously it wasnt.

It is a direct signature requirement per fedex.

From Fedex - FedEx will obtain a signature from someone at the delivery address. If no one is at the address, FedEx may reattempt delivery. Direct Signature Required overrides any recipient release that may be on file for deliveries to nonresidential addresses.

Talked to Fedex and Project Fi and pretty much seems like I have to be home to accept delivery.

I cancelled my original order from Google store Oct. 9 that was originally supposed to be delivered Oct 27 but got pushed back to Nov. 9. After I cancelled last night, I ordered the exact phone. It shipped today. So, I lose promised $75 credit. They lose the sale I would have made with that credit. I starting to think that original order would have just sat there unshipped forever.

Edited to add that I also whined about the situation at Google email Support and I am still getting my $75 credit and the phone is due tomorrow.

Ordered at end of event Oct 9 (3XL 128gb white). original ship date was Oct. 26. Then changed to Nov 6. Yesterday pushed back to Nov 14. I will probably cancel.

I have a phone coming tomorrow, just received the same info. 1st time I've had to sign for a Pixel, and I've had a dozen of them delivered over the years.

With all the package thefts, can't really complain. Suspect we'll be seeing more "signatures required" in the future.

ETA - A month or so ago, a delivery from newegg.com was lost by FedEx. I was issued a credit and later placed another order for a computer part valued at $27.00, it came with an "indirect signature required". Over the years I've had orders worth several thousand dollars delivered without any type of signature required. This is the 1st Pixel delivery since that "lost package" deal. I'm wondering if my address is now a "signature required" address - Just a guess - probably only paranoia - :D

I swear, if I wasn't going with FI, I would of cancelled my order with Google and gone to Best Buy.
Might of walked out with s Note 9.
I'm super impatient.

If I'm correct, you're on-line from your home WiFi most of the time. If that's the case, Google Fi will pay off for you big-time!
