Pixel 3 Battery reports

My pixel 3 or are you asking cbcasas? I have mine for a week, but I haven't really try a full day of using it without charging to test the battery.

I've had mine since the 17th and it's been consistently bad.

Mine seems to drain fairly quickly. Took it off the charger this morning, checked email and a couple of other apps, 20 mins and down 5%

I have stopped displaying battery percentage on my status bar on all my phones from around a year or so and never have been much happier. No more battery anxiety, most phones I use lasts full day, I charge when I get a chance etc. Overall battery life has been fine and lasts me full day on my Pixel 3 XL as well.

Well, I'm not doing to bad on this last charge. It's been off the charger for 32 hours with 2 hours 37 minutes of SOT and 30% remaining (haven't had much time to be on my phone). This is on a regular Pixel 3 and after I disabled AOD.

I asked a question earlier in the thread if people monitor their battery so close because they need to or want to, being tech people with an interest. I have no desire to monitor my battery, I love with my iPhone (which has the % in top dash) I don’t ever worry about topping up. I would much prefer using this phone with little to no battery watching.

It's definitey a "want to" thing with this group... Just nerding out over every little thing like we love to do ... Lol!:p

I want to do this, but after my battery levels out. Hahahaha

But for real, this is a good idea.

It's not so much of a need or a want for me but when I notice I haven't done much on the phone and the battery is going down, I would like to know why.
I don't display the battery percentage on my phone either but the icon tells me enough

I'm averaging around 6 hrs SOT now but I was able to get over 7 hrs 3 times.

I don't have a battery problem! I got the Pixel 3 XL at launch along with the Pixel Stand. I office from my home and the Pixel Stand sits just to the right of my Windows 10 monitor and that's where my phone sits when I'm not using it. I'm finding that my phone almost never falls below 80% when I'm out of my office for a few hours and as soon as I'm back my phone goes right back on the Pixel Stand and I'm right back to battery 100%.

I love my Pixel 3 XL and I love using the Pixel Stand wireless charger with it!

So I ran an overnight last night just to get a feel for idle usage. I don't use AOD and Bluetooth was turned off. Wi-fi was on though. This is much better than what I was getting on my Pixel 2 with 9.0.

I personally don’t think features you need to use like Bluetooth should need to be shut off, ya it could save some battery is ultimately I prefer leaving everything I need on all the time.

Has anyone tested the flip down DnD feature overnight to see if it conserves battery on standby?
