Pixel C Tablet / Google Assistant

[Android Central Question]

Ok so we know that Android tablets are getting the Google Assistant. Will the Pixel C also get assistant? I was at bestbuy the other day and all of the Samsung Galaxy tablets have assistant on them. (they run nougat... Pixel c runs oreo)

It's very annoying that Assistant is on my Pixel XL but not on my Pixel C. I have to keep reminding myself that I can't control my devices via the Pixel C like I can with my XL.
