I'd say you're absolutely correct! That's why hopefully the pixel 5's in the future will be great sellers! That's what Google is hoping for!

If I recall, the only real complaint from nexus fans was the ever present sub-par camera. But google clearly solved that issue. The nexus line may well be a thing of the past. But I still hold out hope for its return.

Yep yep, you're absolutely right! Nexus phones were amazing! The camera sucked. That's why Google had to rebrand the phones from my marketing standpoint call them the pixels, and use image processing and algorithms and say they're the best camera phones on the market!

Even then, I remember taking some pretty good pics with my Nexus 5. It wasn't great with moving objects, but with static scenes, I could get some good shots.

Even the nexus 6 took good pics, but the video suffered from a "jumpy" auto focus which made taking videos almost useless.

TBH, I rarely take videos, so that weakness of Nexus and Pixel cameras has never bothered me. I prefer photography as a hobby, rather than videography.

That wasn't too bad for those days. We've been blessed with great jumps in phone cameras in the past few years imo

I hate to say it because I * love* my S10, but I am very interested in seeing what the Pixel 5 line brings to the table.

Oh yes, absolutely. No matter what phone you have Android or iOS, everyone's interested to see what the pixel is going to look like!
