I had a very strange experience...Got the prompt to download the update. All 263MB downloaded, but then it froze on step 2 (and stayed there). Eventually restarted my phone, and now it says no update available and I'm still on the Nov 5th version. Anyone else have this issue?

There seems to be quite a lengthy pause during step 2. How long did you wait before restarting your phone?

Anyone using a Google purchased Pixel on T-Mobile get the update yet?

I'm not sure if my bought Pixel from Craigslist is from VZ but the guy I bought it never activated it with them. So I am assuming mine still consider Google purchase? Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways mine was updated a couple days ago through OTA and I am using T-Mobile.

I think this is probably a good time to contact Google Support.

Yes, they were enabled by default. I did some further digging and had to enable the screen lock. They do work great most of the time. Sometimes the wake function doesn't work but it's not a deal breaker.

Got mine tonight. I went into settings to check, and it was there. Mine was also on step 2 for quite awhile. I thought it had frozen, but didn't want to mess with it while it was installing, so just left it alone. It finished updating, and was good to go.

Mine got update on 12/07. Google bought on Project Fi

Got it 12/8 on Verizon. Took about 20 mins over wi-fi. Had the same happen during step 2. That stage seemed frozen, but just have to not do anything and the installation should finish fine.

I got a notification for a 206 MB download, then when I clicked to download it disappeared, that was a day ago. I don't remember if that's ever happened to me before on any other device... Anyone experience this and can tell me how it played out?

That has never happen to me but from what I read on the discussion board it may have been pulled. Try restarting your phone see if you can retrieve that.

Is there still no way to properly set whether you want a date or the weather on the main home screen widget? I've updated to 7.1.1 and updated the Pixel launcher as well.

Sometimes it'll show the date, sometimes the weather. It switches back and forth by itself. How do you just pick one and let it stick?

Kind of frustrating Google doesn't give people control over this one area; one that is forced on the main home screen, too. Shouldn't we have the control to decide which we want to see there?

Anyway, would appreciate any input.
