Are you in Canada? Did you get the update? Or are you trying to get the thread back on track? My signal is still dropping, just FYI.
Hey guys,
Please don't hammer me for this. As some of you may have known, since I have been posting here, that I have been trying to get the Pixel. Do to the reported LTE issues here in Argentina, I decided not to wait for a fix. I started looking fro an alternate flagship, that was around the same size. I did find a couple that I liked, however, when I researched to see if they would work on MOVISTAR AR, I found that they did not. So I decided to try the iPhone 7. I ordered it yesterday, and it is being delivered today to a friend, who is going to fly it down here. This will be my 3rd iPhone that I have owned, having owned the 4, the 5 and now the 7. Never owned an S. Anyhow, I have owned way more Android phones. I really, really wanted the Pixel, but with the reported problems from several users down here, not having LTE, I just could not make the purchase. Anyhow, I will continue to be on the forums, on and off.
I care a great deal. I wish the issue were solved. I don't own a Pixel XL but I would like it to at least be an option. I'm also disturbed that some say signal strength is lower than other phones even when signal is present and not dropping. My signal is still dropping, just FYI.
Yeah the dropping signal is what's putting me off as well. But if I was forced to stay on stock Android I'd not be using Android at all. Lol. Stock Android keeps me interested for all of ten minutes, if that long maybe, before I'm customizing the hell out of it.You have to do what's good for you. I traded out for an LG V20 and I'm happier with it than I was with the Pixel XL. I couldn't stay with the connectivity issues and I forgot how boring stock Android is.

Online it says $20 a months for 24 months. Is it cheaper in the store?$360.00
Where? If you are going with Verizon, I posted the breakdown and stipulations in another posting on the forums. It breaks everything down for Verizon
Have you tried an Factory reset. Sometimes that fixes LTE issues. I had to do an Factory reset with my old Galaxy Nexus. It fixed my issue also if you have Verizon apps on your phone remove the Verizon caller ID.4G LTE still dropping pretty normally or as its been since I got it. No real change here on this end. If I pick up the phone I get it sometimes, setting it down produces different results such as zero bars. Come on Monday!!!
That's funny you said that. I did do a factory reset just before it semi stabilized. I did do one early on that didn't help.Have you tried an Factory reset. Sometimes that fixes LTE issues.
