Play Store app updates frequently pause and then restart

I am having frequent issues when I go to the "My apps" section, and doing an "Update All". The applications will begin downloading, reach a certain point of the download (most recently it was 95%), then it seems to pause for 20 seconds, and then it appears to start the download again, usually installing successfully on the second try.

Does anyone see this issue? I am completely stock (no root or ROM)...

Go to your M8 Settings, then open Apps, scroll down and tab on Google Play Store, tab on Clear cache. And see if that will solve your problem.

If that doesn't help, try also Clear Data. Another app to Clear Cache/Clear Data is Download Manager.

Well, just ran it through a bunch of updates, and no joy. Still doing the same thing. Will try the same on download manager next...

Yes. HTC one m8, Galaxy tab pro 8.4, and a couple others now and then. Funny of the second attempt after each stall will almost always be successful.

In that case log-out from all the other devices, and then see if the updates on M8 can go smoothly or not.
