I'm actually a bit surprised at some of the results I've been getting in low light without flash:

The key I find is to shoot in bursts. The shutter speed is fairly slow but out of 10 shots in a burst, 1 or 2 are likely to to have the camera and the subject nice and still. (Kind of a poor man's optical stabilization.) Focus is surprisingly reliable.
I think the grain, colors and overall tonality leave a bit to be desired, but overall not too bad for a phone cam. I might even use some of these for promo!![]()
That's the thing Motorola needs to get is software reliability. This camera can be above average but needs more reliable software for focus, exposure, etc.
