It seems these Quandrant scores can vary greatly.

I scored 1525 on midNIGHT v2.4 EXT4 Dual


My wife's Epic got 998 on Bonsai v1.0.4


No matter what these scores tell us, I noticed immediately just from the transition between apps and screens that EXT4 is doing a lot of good for the Epic.

Getting just shy of 1000 on Quadrant on Baked Snack 1.6, pretty nice boost from stock

After a few hours on Bonsai4All v1.1.2 with the EXT4 mod applied I'm pulling Quadrant scores of 1696, 1686, 1694 !

Before mod I was pulling 1604 on average.

I would say were flying!

Not much really. Question is, are you enjoying your phone/new ROM. Does it seem fast, little or no lag? If you answered yes to these questions then you have your answer.

Unfortunately until the source code is released and the devs/cooks can goto work on some custom kernels we cannot overclock our phones with Froyo to make them any faster. Don't read into these score too much either.

Yes, I am enjoying it. It has turned my phone into the phone it should have been the whole time. It is crazy fast with no lag. Just wondering if there are any settings I can tweak to further optimize it.

Not too much really. You can go into your apps drawer>Spare Parts and there is Transition Animation and Windows Animations, set them both to FAST.

Otherwise your about topped out my friend. Enjoy.

If you are still running TrulyEpic Rebirth v1.2 then goto your apps then Spare Parts. You will find the Window Transition and Animation Transition settings, change them to FAST.

This is about the only real "tweak" I know of to make things any faster than they already are on this ROM.

I figured I would try out the newest midNIGHT ROM v3.0 and see what the new no journaling mod and all would do for speed.

Heres my results, impressive? Yes.. How does it run, I will let you know over the next day or two..

I would say we are cooking, but the real test is still how does it perform overall..

getting about 1950-2000 on quadrant using the midnight 3.0. the phone is absolutely FLYING with everyday usage. ridiculous. way quicker than the trulyepic 1.2 was running for me. seems more stable too.

Fairly poorly... I usually get between 2000 and 2100 running Midnight Rom 3.1, highest was 2144
