EDIT: Version 2 Complete. Thank God that's over. Fixed shortcut colors and 'themed' it up more.

I included some variations of it. One has the bar higher or lower, another has shadows for each button. Another has a shadow for the bar. The original idea was to have carbon fiber buttons with colored backlighting but they came out rather cheap looking.

It looks really good on more plain backgrounds too (previous looks, the red satin may make a return)

Leslie do you have the manup file? The thread at xda is/has been deleted.

They are in that download.
Everything needed to make that dock is in there and then some.

Manup Clean (white), Dirty (black), some white text icons I made, the center icon, and several dock variations.

I tired the manup icons but they are slightly larger than the golauncher will allow so they ended up looking deformed haha. However I did steal your app button and a dock bar.

Everything posted besides the black status bars can be done without root. It takes a lot of searching, picking and choosing but 95% of everything can be done via different launchers and widgets.

Launcher Pro is a popular and very easy to modify launcher/home replacement.

One thing you can do is quote a "theme" you like or want something similar to and someone here will tell you exactly what you need to get to make it similar.

Edit: If you really are looking for complete themes and roms (yes even for someone new to android) then you would need to root, those questions would be better asked in the rooting section of the forum.

Widgetlocker with the Minimalistic Text makes you lose an hour or three. Oy.

Using an invisible slide unlock makes a lot more sense to me instead of a visible one that doesn't actually... well... secretly lock anything.

Ive found a couple but they wont work on our phone.

I know you don't use aospCM7, but it does have features to remove the slide locker, and replace it with gestures that can access any app/shortcut. You can set one to be straight across left to right, and it will act as the default unlocker as if it were invisible.

I use gestures that take me straight to email, messaging, the phone, the browser, and voice activations. I use letters, but you can doodle to your hearts desire, and even when you get warnings about similarities, they usually still work. I just press any key when the phone is locked, then draw what I want to do, and I'm there. Here's a screenshot of opening email, you can turn the tracing off so other people don't see what you are drawing.

I never paid much attention to the gesture thing. When I used them on my dx i never really liked em. I am however going to set it up now for the invis lock screen.
