Pre-ordering with Best Buy

Me too. It's 5 mins away. I was told I couldn't do this in-store. Anybody take care of this issue at their local BB?

I didn't get mine from the Local Store (10 minutes away) nooooooooo since I despise the people there I drove 45 minutes away so I am not going to make multi trips if I can avoid it
 
Love the blue I may have gone red if it was available but the blue looks great I saw it in person at Best Buy just a day or two after preorder started

If I could have got the Blue direct thru Samsung, I may have gone that route. I went with the blk. Wife got the Glow from BB. (The Blue really looks nice in person)

Best Buy Order Status: Sorry, there is an issue with the mobile package for order ___ Call 1-877-702-2211.

I called and they said my imei wasn't being added to my plan and something was giving an error about my plans (both unlimited, one one is do more and the other is go unlimited I think it's called) they didn't give me a lot of information. I was transfered and I sat on hold for 1 hour than gave up and called my local best buy directly and they got a manager and they said corporate best buy has to work on it and they didn't know when it would be fixed after I asked how long would it take.

When I look up my order it still says "preparing for tomorrow"
 
Waited two hours, called back to check the status and the the initial person that has to transfer you (why they need that person just to transfer you instead of going directly there is beyond me) told me there was 160 people waiting in the queue with the same issue. When I asked what exactly it is she said "pre activation failed on the order" and I had to speak with the mobile team to answer a few questions to get it sorted out. Of course they don't have the callback feature you just have to sit and wait like others seam to be doing already as well.

I've been on hold for 2 hours 40 minutes at this point with a quick 2 minutes to be transferred from the main cue to the "back office" to take care of issues with pre-activation.
 
I am beyond pissed!! I was on hold for 4 hours and 18 minutes and then it said GOODBYE!! and hung up on me without me talking to anyone!!

This does not seem to be going well for Best Buy.

So I'm confuesed... if this is something that has to be sorted internally, why are we being told to call? And do we really need to call?

I don't know but it's making me. Regret canceling my Verizon pre Order and moving it to best buy. They already told me they can't help in store so that freaking sucks.

based on what I was told when I was transferred from the main queue to the back office queue, it's not sorted, the "need a few things from you to manually pre-activate the device". still on hold, 3 hrs 20 mins.

Me to... Verizon delivery date was 8/23 but I only got $450 off. The $600 off with Best Buy is why I did it. Now I’m stuck waiting til the 30th.
 
Finally my status changed from "Processing Preorder" since the night I preordered on the 7th to now it says "Preparing for pickup tomorrow"....
