Pre-Orders/Stores that Confirm Availability

Agree. Man I know moto makes good phones and their radio is very good. (IMO) but wish they would unlocked the bootloader but that's not gonna happen soon unless Google makes them and makes a moto nexus phone but wishful thinking .

People say that moto devices have great hardware, but their screen technology and processors are inferior to samsung in everyway. Their "build quality" is very nice, but there hardware is nothing special. However, they do have great radios, I will give you that. But they could have the greatest hardware ever and if they lock the bootloader, that negates it all IMO.

The way I see it, if we don't know anything by tomorrow, I don't think we see a launch until Monday at the earliest. I don't think it's a matter of how the phone is working now, but rather if the phone is capable of being shipped to all locations in time. They should know the answer by today or tomorrow. When I finally hear that it's confirmed from Verizon themselves, I'm pretty sure I'll take the rest of that day off and relax with a beer in hand.

And what's that business with the Bionic's clip on battery cover? It doesn't latch on, rather it has 8 or so little tiny push clips. So you basically "peel" it off the back of the phone and then press it back on, carefully to get all of the pins in right. What a total PITA.

Beyond that, their total scam of releasing the bug-ridden Bionic as the phone to rule them all, refusing to fix the legion problems, and then releasing the Razr a few weeks later... After watching that, I could never ever go Moto.

I hated that battery cover. The og Droid battery cover was solid and i loved that tank.

I agree. I don't care if the shipments made it to the stores. That shouldn't stop any online orders. Hopefully, it's announced on Wednesday, to allow them time to deliver on Friday.

Just called my store. They took my name the rep said she personally has a list of 6 names. There's 12 other reps In the store. She said nothing official just quoted the blogs. Said she'll call when she has confirmation

So everybody calling their store and getting a answer on the release date, have you thought to ask them how much it will be? Hell I went through every page hoping to find it with no luck.

My store won't answer any questions. I figure $299.99 but it would be nice to know before I walk into the store on Friday.

I agree that it starts up the crowd again. But it's not like they are selling it any soon. The date everyone is aiming at looks to be friday and just having thing in stores doesn't move that they will be sold earlier.

Atleast it gives a lot of people here some comfort even if the pictures may be false.

My Christmas bonus came early this year, so I'm back in line as an early adopter of this phone! I consider that good karma for donating $325 to a needy family this year for the holidays.

So now that I'm back in the game, I'm hoping for some kind of announcement or leaks from the stores by the end of the day Wednesday. If it is available Friday, that would be ideal since I'm in Chicago for the weekend (boring not-my-choice trip, so a new piece of hardware would be perfect to occupy my time).
