Preorders starting tomorrow? (Nov 29th)

I wasnt worried about the preorder date mainly because i dont plan on preordering, but everyday that goes by now with no word is making the next rumored date (December 8th) less possible. I wonder how many people are posting on ComputerWorld looking to burn that guy at the stake.

unfortunately I think its gotta be bugs or something at this point that are holding up the launch.. the razr and rezound have gotten plenty of time.. and the verizon marketing map showed 11/28-holiday as the Galaxy Nexus advertising schedule.. I am worried that theirs some software issues they are trying to work out now before launching (like some GSM users have been reporting swapping our 3-4 handsets because of various bugs) Verizon wants to get rid of any issues before it bogs down their stores and customer support during the holidays.

I am still holding out hope on the 29th tho.. being my 29th birthday on the 29th.. I had a good feeling about this one.. the day isnt over yet!

Morning world. It's another beautiful day in the neighborhood.For the folks who waited until midnight to point and laugh, you should probably wait until regular office hours before pronouncing the 11/29 date as bogus ;-)

Really how long did it take the sg2 to come to America or the
Bionic, thunderbolt launches. Hell the bionic went through a whole redo. I haven't read any apologies from vzw for delaying it I haven't seen a Presser saying hey look at me I'm available such n such date.vzw said end of year we still have 4weeks. Product launches get delayed all the time.

it's a disgraceful launch when the rest of the free world has it and we in the United States not only don't have it - but we don't even know WHEN we'll have it. yes it's disgraceful and so are the apologists that make excuses for this nonsense.

Well business hours have started already on the east coast...for the most part. I wonder how many times he's willing to push that goal post back.

I've read in a few comments/forum posts on various sites that the My Verizon app isn't working right with ICS. If that's the cause of the delay, I'll be extremely pissed about it. Don't delay the phone for something like that! Release the phone, then release the app on the market (where it already exists) when you fix the bugs. VZW should not have their software in the ROM and that should not be allowed to hold up the phone!

Must be nice for them to have so few problems in life that something as relatively meaningless as a cell phone release causes some such a high level of consternation. 1st world problems indeed.

That's because it's an internal screw up. Everyone knows, regardless of the fact that no date was given, that vzw has screwed this up. Just because they haven't given a date to pass up yet, doesn't make it any less pathetic.

I'm so sick of tech blogs. Anyone with WordPress and an opinion can have a blog. Bloggers are NOT journalist.

I may start a blog to state my opinion, err, I mean "reporting" on how crappy most blogs are.
