Yes theoretically, assuming that is when the nightly reset happens.

Usually you don't get an update till after the device is released. I know it makes no sense.

Yep lol ... at least they are getting better now. Usually it is the day of release but it the past it was like a week later, I would look at the screen , then at my phone and say WTF? LOL

Really? Ok time for me to start figuring out how to do that.

Just click the Upgrade My Device tile in My Verizon and it is pretty self explanatory. A grid showing pics of all of your phones/devices along with their associated numbers and links to transfer upgrades. Pretty simple.

Off-topic, but I am surprised that the CSR said "Merry Christmas." Really don't hear that very often anymore from employees anywhere because of the worries of being politically correct.

Back on topic, I'll have to wait until tomorrow to pre-order. My NE2 isn't valid until Nov 30. Bummer. Might try calling to get it bumped up if they indeed do have pre-order available today.

Very interesting. If you want to kick the tires on this image, might ask whether a real VZW rep is actually going to be saying "Merry Christmas" given corporate sensitivities to different religions and what not. Edit: I see GoBigRed above also keyed in on this.

Wow I just signed into My Verizon to see if it was updated yet and I found a little surprise... It says my line has an upgrade available on 7/22/12 (same thing it has always said) but says "Eligible for discount! You are eligible to upgrade with discounted pricing. If you upgrade on or after 7/22/12 you are eligible to receive an additional loyalty discount."

Not having to buy the Nexus at full retail will lessen the dent in my wallet especially after pre-ordering the Transformer Prime lol
