Hello there! I have a problem that has stumped me completely. I just installed Android 8.1.0 and LineageOS 15.1 on my Nexus 4 phone. I want to install a couple of APKs (telegram messenger and opera browser to be exact), which I dowloaded and transferred to my phone. I've read up on how to enable installing unknown apps in Android Oreo - after navigating to the correct place in the Settings, the list appears empty. There is no way of adding anything there, and tapping on the downloaded files does nothing.
I just seem to be going around in circles and 4 pages of Google results with the copycat tutorials and screenshots got me no closer to solving this puzzle.
