I bought this tablet as part of the ebay deal and now I'm thinking about adding a data plan to it. Is there any way to get a rebate, discount or smaller term contract since I wouldn't be purchasing the hardware from sprint?

I THINK they have a pay as you go plan where it will shut off when you reach your limit. Will try to find the url where I saw that.
Thanks NinjaMom, Seems kinda steep though. I spoke with Sprint chat on their website. It seems that I'd be stuck the same options as if I were to buy the tablet through them. They didn't mention the plans in the link above.
I don't know if they are still doing them cause I couldn't find how to get them when I got my View... Course, I had to sign the two year when I got it. I just did the 1gb since I'm around WiFi most if the time... Might up it later though.
Maybe try calling again? Some of their reps are clueless. Took me a couple of times to get a rep to turn the ability to receive text messages on my view off.
