**Quick Answer Needed** - Can I use this charger with my N4?

I think I know the answer, but I have to ask.

I had a friend over for dinner prior to driving her to the airport. As we were leaving, she realized she forgot her phone charger at home. Her LG flip phone uses the same end as my N4, so I gave her mine and she said I should go by her place and grab hers for the next 10 days.

Hers is an LG Travel Adapter which says the output is

5.1 V ------- 0.7A

There's no problem using this adapter with my N4, is there? If there is, I need to get something else tonight.

I'm not at home and don't have time for Google searches but I found this thread. Post 10 seems to indicate that I can use a charger with a lower-than-spec voltage and still be okay

You will be fine. May take longer to charge.

5 volts or in your case 5.1 volts is fine. your current is lower then normal. Current is the amount of energy that goes into the phone.
Your stock charger is 1000mAh, or 1A, so with a .7A charger your loosing 300mAh or .3A. So as frenziedfemale said, it will charger but a little slower..
