corrupt radios are one of the very few things that might be able to brick this thing ....

but if you're a bad ass, obv, dont check them :)

OMG first AOKP JB build 1 then flashing francos with it to make my phone the bossest its ever been, now new radios?

Good week to be a gnex owner. Flashing now.

Do you have to be on JB to install the new radios, or is a radio a radio a radio? I'm still running ICS via AOKP (I know, I know) along with Franco's kernel because it has been so stable. I would love to be running one of the JB ROMs, but I'm trying to wait for a milestone (might not be able to wait that long tho).

I have a family member in a nursing home, and the facility has to be able to get in contact with me, so I've been hesitant to try any of the nightlies or build 1. I'm enjoying JB on my grouper, and to make my GNex feel somewhat better, I added a JB wallpaper (that's just sad).

I have tried to flash these twice using 2 different download files and I can't seem to get it to write the L T E radio. I am wiping the cache/davlik before each install. I am using twrp for my recovery. HELP!!!

Don't wipe a thing. Just flash it. Does installation abort?

It just completely skips the LTE radio then goes on flashing the CDMA radio

I had to manually flash this, wait a minute, (I have to flash everything manually with TWRP...WTHeck)!? Noticing an improvement on incoming calls, worth the flash.

Radios only, or do I need to flash the JB bootloader first? In zero's post (#2), he indicated that the JB bootloader may not work with ICS roms. Thanks!

I am totally out of practice with flashing roms so expertise of any of the crackflashers is much appreciated - this nursing home thing has got me paranoid.

I just flashed the radio package, Noticed something new. The phone now shows that i am on my network extender and not the actual network. Where it usually says "Verizon Wireless" (Bottom of lock screen and pull down) it now says "Network Extender". Its nothing crazy, but it definitely didn't do that before.

If you're staying on ICS, don't flash the jb boot loader. AFAIK, The new radios haven't been tested with ICS boatloader, so beware.

That said, aokp build 1 is stable, So I think you could update to that and jb boot and radios if you wish.

However, I understand the concerns, so you might be better off waiting for a milestone build, but I can attest to several weeks of stability on aokp. I would say it outpaces euroskank in the stable dept for sure.

Not sure if this is a problem, but my phone is showing Roaming when on my network extender. Have an R where i usually see 3g. Anyone else have a network extender and new radios? Has anyone else experienced this?
