Randaom crashing?

I just got my Vivid from a guy and it already had ICS preloaded on it. Just wondering if anyone else was having random crashes usually when charging.

Also sometimes when I reboot my phone I get a box stating that Android is updating even though I'm running 4.0.3. It's not a big deal except it takes forever sometimes. Would love to know what's going on.

No crashes here. The 'android is upgrading' thing....stock bug. Would love seeing an update pushed to fix it; not holding my breath....

It's not a bug at all. You see...HTV, when making the ICS for the phone, decided that ours phones would be best with the Dalvik-Cache being deleted every time you shut off the phone. So, that's why you see the "Android is upgrading.... optimizing app ## out of ##". The best way I fixed it was mod my phone to WCX and I love it. He made it so the Dalvik-Cache doesn't get erased upon shutdown.

And as for the random crashes, it only happened to me once when I was stock. So...I don't know.

I used Hanson2000's all in one toolkit. I'm kinda wondering if I should have flashed a custom kernel.

No, nononononononono, if you're stock and you flash that Holicakes kernel you WILL brick your phone. And I didn't root that way. I rooted through the recovery.
