Hi,
in my case apps that install themselves is because another (preinstalled) app is installing them.
So, in order to remove apps that are preinstalled by the manufacturer (or someone else) you have to do the following:
1.-) root your phone.
2.-) Install adb and fastboot in your computer.
3.-) access your phone terminal (like a linux terminal) by using the following command:
adb shell
--With this it will appear a new prompt something like "shell@something:/ $"
there, you must change the user to "root" (like an admin) by typing "su" at the prompt:
shell@something:/ $ su
after typing that, the "$" symbol should change to "#" meaning that now you have full privileges over your phone system (be careful).
Preinstalled apps are located at /system/app/ and also in /system/priv-app
So if you want to uninstall some of them, you just have to remove them (once again, be careful with that).
you can list the apps installed with the command "pm list packages -f"

Hope this can help someone!

I have this same problem and have tried many times to remedy the problem, all to no avail. Mostly the apps are games, such as Likin Hero, Ten Drop etc.. I just uninstall them and then go off line until it's absolutely necessary to reconnect, then repeat the procedure. It's a pain and I have worried about viruses, but so far I've been fortunate. Please let me know if anyone ever figures out how to prevent this, or how to report it when it does. Thanks. By the way, I love your "Crow" profile picture.

I have the same problem but I fixed by flashing new rom I mean stock rom
because factory data reset is not enough they are still there if you reset.
Kingroot is also good if you can root it so that you can uninstall unwanted apps

I hate it when it attack my phone because they can install and download apps , my phone keeps on restarting when i tried to uninstall something .

In Settings, Security, Unknown Sources uncheck allow installation of apps from unknown sources.

In the Google Play Store app, tap the 3 dots and choose Settings. Uncheck automatic updates/installation. Good luck! It is probably an app you installed which has adware, sometimes they lead to automatic installation of other apps. It happened to me once from either a game app or a flashlight app or something.

Something is wrong.
I do nothing and once a day I see a new app is installed on my phone.
I made a factory reset, then installed only a couple of the most important apps. After that, a month later, it began again. Is it a virus? I don't know, because I install "Avast!" - no warninds, then "Lookout" - it also says no malware is found. The programs it installs look fine, they are not malware at all.

What should I do now? Should I report to any antivirus company?

You have to be careful of some apps you install and read the terms. Some apps especially those downloaded from social media sites say may download a new app per day
