Install an app like AirSync. It will synch all non-DRM songs. If you have any old rights-managed songs, you have to update them in Apple land first.

Yes, micro. It takes up to 32 GByte. I get them on Amazon. The higher the Class the better (faster). Get one with an "adapter" if you have a laptop with a card reader. It makes it look like a regular SD card for fastest file transfers if the need arises.

Its not gonna say it in the docs or manuals, but ppl have gotten 64GB to work in Android phones since probably 2010. Definitely since 2011.

Is there an app I can download that will let me use my photos as a wallpaper? The native wallpaper setting is so awful on this phone, none of my pictures can fit in the given cropped space they provide to set it as the wallpaper. Big upset.

Download PicSpeed. To set a wallpaper, go to the stock gallery application and than choose the photo. Hit the menu key and than set as button. Choose wallpaper with PicSpeed.

This works much better although not perfect due to the setting limitations.

Two ways you can do this. Create a contact widget or use the favorite contacts widget.

About the only way I have ever been able to do this is to do a screen shot of the photo, then crop on the phone

Click the apps icon (2X3 dots) and swipe right until you get to the widgets. The direct dial widget will place a call to a specific contact with one tap. The direct text widget will do the same for text. The contact widget will give you a shortcut to the entire contact.

To create an app shortcut or widget in ICS you start with the app icon, pick the shortcut or widget and press and hold. It places the shortcut on the currently home screen. You can then move it where you want. Some widgets will require configuration before they will place, such as selecting the contact you're interested in. It takes some getting used to after the old system, where you start with the spot on the home screen you want to populate.

With Wifi on, do both the wifi and the LTE/3G icon still stay in the notification bar?
I know on my other phones, the wifi icon would come up, and the data connection icon would go away...

Yes, because cellular data is still active for MMS. You won't use battery as much as you would on a straight cellular signal though.

The WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS icons only appear if you turn those features on. LTE / G3 always stays on for voice. When WiFi is on data will go over it, but voice and SMS will continue to go over LTE / 3G

You may notice that you show fewer bars when you're connected to wifi. This is "normal."
