RCS after all from Google effective immediately

All good here since Google released, stays active on my AT&T Note10 Plus and AT&T Note9, no issues at all.Screenshot_20191116-115023_Messages.jpg

I had to use the Activity Launcher to get RCS to work. Would be nice if there was also a way to schedule when to send a message.

I can confirm that RCS works on my Note 10+ on Verizon by using the beta version of the Google Messages app and following the instructions in the YT video posted above.
Same here (Verizon). The chat features DID show up without going through all that in the video, and I turned it on, but a short while later those settings just disappeared. So I wound up going through the instructions in the video and now I have it again.

I downloaded it and tried to install it twice but it would never finish setting up. I'm in Sprint with an unlocked Note 10+.

It might be that it doesn't work on Sprint, but I can tell you that it took me (Verizon) several tries to get it working. When it finally "took", I got a pop-up message in Google Messages that asked me to confirm my cell number which then led to getting a confirmation message. The first few attempts never got me to that point.

Again, maybe it doesn't work on Sprint, but it might be worth another try before giving up.

Thanks! I'll give it another shot.

Went into the settings and it says: your carrier does not support this feature

no I just went to google play store, download Google messenger. followed the steps and that was it

Sprint already has rcs built in... I've had rcs 3 years on all my Samsung phones thru Samsung messages, also when I use Google messages it's already enabled

I'm on Sprint with a factory unlocked Note 9 and it's working fine. I think. I have no one to text with that also uses it so I can tell if it's working or not. But it installed fine and is showing as enabled.

Holy RCS Batman! I'm RCS enabled!

I opted into the Google Messages Beta program and installed the beta version.

When I opened it, it enabled RCS.

P.S. I'm Verizon with the Verizon Note 10+ 5G.
