I had looked at this long before I made this thread thinking it would help but it did nothing in my case. Today has been good so I really think it was some kind of glitch with me having developer settings enabled. My phone was lagging and really annoying me and I think I found the problem (for me at least).
Yesterday I went into the "Device Care" section and clicked on "Battery".
I noticed my Power Mode as set to "Medium Power Saving".
This mode limits your CPU to 70% along with some other stupid things.
I set it back to "Optimized" but left the "Adaptive Power Saving" checked.
This morning my phone was lagging again and I went back in only to see it set to "Medium Power Saving" again.
This time I set it back to "Optimized" and then unchecked "Adaptive Power Saving".
Once I put it back in "Optimized" my phone performs as it always had before Android 10.
Not sure if this is a beta bug or what.
Factory reset didn't do it for me and I was pissed for wasting so much time! This happened to me with December's update, I had to factory reset before it got rid of the lag. It's now back to normal. It was so bad I went out last month and picked up a OnePlus 7t till I was able to resolve it. Now I am having trouble not using my OP7t lol..
TMobile storeFactory reset didn't do it for me and I was pissed for wasting so much time!I'm very intrigued by the OP7T. Seems like an awesome phone. I'd love to check one out in person but I have no idea where to find one in my area.
I use Nova Launcher and haven't experienced any problems since updating.
I don't even think we have one in my entire State.TMobile store
