Goo Manager, we specifically added ORS support for it.

You can do that with any file manager or even terminal emulator, if you like.
Goo Manager is a much better concept than ROM Manager and the devs are honest about the requirements to make it work.

Please don't refer to ROMs as "crappy" ever again.

Not everyone has their ROMs up on GooManager. Until that happens you'll just have to flash ROMs the good ole' manual way.

Don't worry, its not that much work :)

Now back on topic please.

I know right I'm learning how to make a rom and you just gotta respect how much blood sweat and tears go into development of these roms.......and for free their is no such thing as crappy roms. Just intense labors of love

Thank you all devs for bleeding for my opti s:thumbup:

The 1980 thing was discussed above, and drew pretty much stated that it is a phone/ROM thing and not a COT issue. The date just gets passed to COT.

Speaking of topics. Who turned the off topic chatter switch on? :-!

If you're talking to me I'm on topic with the person about recoveries being 1980 dated, and this is a RECOVERY topic is it not?

Nope, works fine on my end.

If you could grab a log of this, that would be helpful. Instructions in the first post.

I think it would be cool to have a backup/restore for /data/app. It would make clean installs easier to deal with. I know there are apps for it but, having it in recovery would just be simpler.

Unless I am mistaken you can do that from the advanced restore menu
