[RECOVERY] TeamWin Recovery Project (TWRP) 2.0RC0.2 [2011-12-22]

Re: [RECOVERY] TeamWin Recovery Project (twrp) v1.0.2 [07/31/11]

What's the size of a compressed Nandroid backup on this recovery? Not that I need the space right now, I keep one CM stable and one Sense ROM backup on my SD card but it's good to know.

Here is the difference I've seen. With both of these I backed up system, data, boot and wimax.

Using Vaelpak4

Non-compressed = 329mb

Compressed = 208mb This did take longer to back up as they claim.

Just flashed and love it compared to clockworkmod. Never have used armon tho.

This is a very cool recovery I will admit, but quite a few user are reporting issues of it not wiping properly and backups not restoring. I would honestly wait until Team Win gets all the bugs worked before using this a full time recovery. Amon on the other hand is pretty dawn rock solid if you ask me. I've never had one issue out of it, everything just works brilliantly. If you've never tried it, you're in for a treat. :)

Hey, hey camelguy! I agree 100% with you......I think once twrp gets all the kinks out, they'll have a damn fine recovery tool on their hand, but as for me now, I'm sticking with amon RA, it's sure fire every time!

By the way good to see ya!

Can't wait to have 2.0

I hear ya man, running 1.1.1 tight now and loving it! They really did fix this thing up right, the menu system is so intuitive. Putting a wipe cache/dalvik option in the flash zip section in brilliant, can't wait to give 2.0 a shot. :)

How responsive is everything, I noticed they had 2.0 ready first quite a few devices....so they must have put a ton of work in to this. I just wish u was at my desktop so I could update the Op.

So far everything is responsive. I'm getting ready to back things up to see how that goes. I finally got some free time to try it out.

Edit: I can update the screenshots
