My submission was just approved and it says Processing gift. I have not recieved an email yet with a link to pay for the $99 bundle i selected at the time of claim registration. There is a little light at the end of the tunnel though. Let's just hope I get my email soon.

I got my s8+ through Verizon and registered for the $99 bundle through the samsung app. I added a picture of my receipt and it did not give me an option to buy and still is just saying waiting for approval. I did this about 5 hours ago. I don't get why some are being instantly approved. Did anyone's take overnight and then got the email to buy?
Finished with mine. Pretty seamless and easy. Did take a while to approve, but once I got approved I paid for it and now just waiting for it to ship
Good to know. How long did it take you to be approved? Did you receive an initial email or just one being approved?
Called and spent 90 minutes on hold and was told if you registered on the App, they don't have access to see that - at least not yet. Please wait at least 24-48 hours as the will be sending out links as long as your email was entered correctly - which is pretty much what I would say if I had no info and wanted to get the person off the phone. Last year was the same nonsense - months of waiting for VR or watches and some people ending up with store credits or something.
Half a day. I submitted at around 11am today, and got approved at night when I checked, about 8 to 9ish. From other threads I read some got approved really quick, but mine wasn't too long. Once I saw I was approved I just bought the experience through the app
Still waiting for email with link. I spoke to a customer service rep and they submitted a ticket regarding the email with the link to purchase the $99 bundle. He transferred me to the promotions dept but said they are extremely extremely busy, so I sat on hold for all of 5 minutes before the phone system kicked me off and disconnected me for the 3rd time tonight. I read the terms of the $99 bundle and it says you will not be charged until it ships just in case they run out of supplies which is 50k units of the $99 bundles and 350k units of the Gear VR with controller. Im a little worried. They had millions of preorders. They should have had more of each bundle available. But it is what it is. If I am able to secure a $99 bundle then awesome but if not then oh well.

So i tried the shop samsung app. When I tried to register for the 99 bundle again it said i have already registered.

Can someone with AT&T preorder tell me how they submitted their receipt for the promo? Normally I get rejected with sending receipt inside the box...

Ordered my phone via JOD on T-Mobile, received it yesterday 4/19.
Submitted for the $99 bundle via the Samsung app, using my JOD EIP confirmation PDF with the IMEI as the receipt.
That part was easy, however still no email to actually pay for it.

Same thing happened to me. What Im worried about is that it's not even showing up in my Samsung promotions. And no email till now. I'm not gonna be a happy camper. They don't need to be offering stuff if they don't have enough. This is Samsung....50K bundles is a joke for preorders.

I just did mine this morning, it went smoothly. I did it on my computer. As soon as it said approved. I got the email with the link to pay right away. I paid through paypal. I am good to go! Good Luck everyone!

How did you submit? Through the website or the Samsung shop app on the phone?
I did it through the website because I didn't have the app. It shouldn't matter how you register you claim. Still no email yet. I'm beginning to lose hope of getting the $99 bundle.

I sat on hold for the for almost 2 hours in total last night 3 calls and was disconnected each time. I've been on hold for 37 minutes as of right now. That must have thousands of calls in que.

I'm also on hold now. The first guy transferred me to another department. I believe we are screwed getting this $99. bundle.
