Remember the Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I'm wary of the of Verizon Pixel. The last time a Google phone was exclusive to Verizon, it was updated last, and sometimes months behind other Nexus devices. I had this glorious little phone. My first Nexus device and I loved it. But it had one, tiny, little, major flaw: it never updated. Waiting on Evil Verizon Corp took months to catch up. And I'm afraid the vicious cycle is happening again.
