repeat notifications...

for the love of god, please make an update to the software that allows you to stop repeat notifications for emails. As far as i know email is the only notification that repeats itself. Text, MMS, Gtalk, nothing allows you to set for a repeat notification. Email does it by default and there is no way of changing it.

My question is..is there an app that allows you to change the repeat notifications on emails and allow me to turn it off?

Happens to me all of the time. If I get a new email, but don't open it, it will remind me every ten minutes or so until I do.

This is with my aol account, by the way. I don't know if this happens with gmail; I never use it.

this happens with my gmail, all through the night. I need to silence my phone or else it keeps repeating. No program to stop it?
