I apologize for my English. My daughter has a Teclast 50 tablet, she has downloaded dozens of applications, the memory is 39% full. When it downloads any application from the Google Play store, the tablet restarts after opening the application. It doesn't matter if I open it in Google Play or from the desktop. Even after restarting, when I want to open the application, it restarts again and therefore the application cannot be opened. Do you have any advice on what to do about it? Thanks Elliott

Welcome to Android Central! When you say the tablet restarts after trying to open an app, do you mean that it actually reboots? Or as you saying that the app tries to open, but then it just goes back to the homescreen?

Hello, thank you for your quick reply. It's a relatively short restart, compared to a normal one. Anyway, the screen will go black, the manufacturer's logo will appear, and then the home screen. It started to happen to her about five days ago, until then she was downloading and opening everything without any problems. When I go to open the application again after this reboot, the same thing happens, the tablet turns black and performs a reboot. I cleared the cache in Google play, only factory settings will probably help here, what do you think?

Welcome to Android Central forums.

Are you able to open any apps on this device?

Is it only the most recently added apps that cause these restart events?

While you mention that it doesn't matter if an app is opened from Google Play or the app drawer for this to happen, are all of the apps on this device from the Google Play Store? Other sources might be the Amazon App Store, random online/web app stores, etc.

What types of apps cause these events? Are they game apps, drawing, photo editing, media player/picker, social media, is there a specific type of app that is affected?

Also, does the tablet restart when opening one of the preinstalled apps (like the stock Email app or Calendar app)? If not, then it's possible some app you installed is causing system instability. But it can be difficult to determine which one is the culprit. You may want to consider a factory reset, and then set the tablet up again without reinstalling any 3rd party app from the Play Store at first. Then start installing apps one by one, and test that you're able to open each one after they're installed.

It's only been a few days since the tablet started doing this. All previously downloaded apps can be opened on the device. Yes, only recently downloaded apps cause these events. All apps are from Google Play and I've tried downloading different apps, whether gaming, social or other and it happens with all of them.

I've tried opening the pre-installed apps and they open normally. I also thought it could be some recently installed app. So I guess I'll choose a factory reset :-)
