Tried full wipe and re-rom your phone? Reapplied kernel? No theme?
did you do a data and cache wipe?
Sounds like the common problem that happens when coming from Eclair to Froyo using the no wipe package (the one with the x after 29) instead of the wipe version. I guess DroidXcon is going to have to make his Warning in bold red lettering about going from Eclair to Froyo without wiping causing force closes and other problems
ABOUT THIS BIG
yea i did the rom over and wiped data.everything else is good.just keep getting gmail fc.
So far DL09 modem seems to be working pretty well. I'm getting phone calls now, which is a good thing.
I did find one other bug with 2.9.1, but I've had it ever since 2.6. Whenever I open google maps and don't have gps turned on, it will ask me to go to my settings. When I click that button to go to location settings, my phone just hangs and comes up with a force close error.

gmail app is not in settings>applications>manage applications>Gmail>.
How did you get that sorted? I had the same issue.
can someone help me with cwr red.. after i enter recovery mode, i get into blue and press apply sdcard:update.zip, then it goes into orange and i press install zip from sd card. then i go to a file where i have an update zip, then it takes me to red recovery. there any way to get straight into red instead of going through this process?
the videos on cnet.com play at normal speed but the audio is way slow. (except the ads, which play fine?)
The flash videos on other pages play fine, cnet.com is the only site I have problems with. Is this a webpage problem, or phone problem?
I have tried three different browsers to no avail. I have tried using flash 10.1, and now 10.2 to no avail.
Could you all check to see if cnet.com videos play fine for you all?
I have 2.9.1 with the EB16 kernel. Debinged browser.
Thanks
